We are excited to welcome you to Advanced Manufacturing Minneapolis, bringing together MD&M, ATX, Design & Manufacturing, MinnPack, and Plastec, October 16 & 17, at the Minneapolis Convention Center. Below you will find show information, onsite resources, and a short checklist to help with your final planning. If any questions remain, please contact the show’s team.
PRE-REGISTER FOR YOUR PASS
Avoid lines and extra costs onsite and pre-register yourself – and your team – before arriving in Minneapolis. Plus, when you pre-register you’ll be the first to receive all necessary event information.
Need some more information before registering? Check out our education sessions, exhibitor list, and keynotes. And be sure review what pass type is right for you.
Once registered, invite your network to join you at the show. Your associates can receive a FREE expo pass or discount on a conference pass when they use your referral promo code.
BOOK YOUR HOTEL
OnPeak is our official housing vendor to help you secure exclusive hotel rates at some of the best hotels in Minneapolis. Rooms are filling up quickly – Take advantage of special pricing and reserve your room today. onPeak is the only hotel provider endorsed by Advanced Manufacturing Minneapolis.
PLAN AHEAD
Before you head out the door, review the exhibitor list, product categories, and educational sessions available on the online Event Dashboard and mobile app. Save exhibitors and sessions to your My Show Planner, so you can easily reference back to this list onsite. Use the Event Dashboard to book meetings with exhibitors, as well. Click here for more detailed information on how to access the Advanced Manufacturing Minneapolis Event Dashboard.
NAVIGATING MINNEAPOLIS AND THE CONVENTION CENTER
Minneapolis is a walkable city with the Skyway and Advanced Manufacturing Minneapolis itself located in two halls at the Minneapolis Convention Center. Between walking the expo floor and exploring the city, you’ll be walking a lot, so be sure to choose a comfortable pair of shoes for your busy days at the show.
We are adding a new feature this year to provide guidance on where Minneapolis Convention Center meeting rooms are outside of the exhibit hall floor. Go to the online floor plan and click the drop-down menu to view maps of the meeting rooms and better navigate your Advanced Manufacturing Minneapolis experience.
DOWNLOAD THE OFFICIAL EVENT APP
Have all the information that you need at your fingertips by downloading the Advanced Manufacturing Minneapolis event app before you come to the event. The event app downloading instructions will be found here.
PLAN FOR DOWNTIME
Have an evening free or maybe you’ll be in town for the weekend? Check out the city’s amazing restaurants all there is to do in Minneapolis.
PICK UP YOUR BADGE AT THE REGISTRATION DESK
To print your badge onsite, have your registration confirmation email ready. That email will have the subject line “Your Advanced Manufacturing Minneapolis 2024 Confirmation.” If you can’t find that one – don’t worry – we will be sending another reminder in the days leading up to the event. Registration and badge pick-up desks will be in the Minneapolis Convention Center lobby in front of Hall D, as well as across from the Minneapolis Convention Center Visitors Center.
Pro tip: Pick your badge up the day before the show opens to avoid long lines.
ARRIVE EARLY (& PLAN TO STAY BOTH DAYS)
To make the most out of the event, we recommend arriving at least 15 minutes before expo doors open at 10:00AM or 15 minutes ahead of the first conference session you plan to attend, if you are a conference pass holder. Your pass will allow access to both days of expo, so plan for networking, education, career advancement resources, and conversations with exhibiting suppliers on Wednesday and Thursday. With 550+ exhibitors, 90+ education sessions, networking on both days, and tools like resume reviews and complimentary headshots, you’ll need two days to benefit from it all!
WALK UP OR BOOK A MEETING IN ADVANCE
If you see a busy booth, say a quick hello or use the new feature to schedule a meeting on that exhibitor’s profile within the online Event Dashboard on your desktop or mobile device in the official event app.
GET SOCIAL
Post a photo of your favorite booth, share your experience, and network with fellow industry professionals while at the event. Remember to use hashtag #ADMMinn.
FOLLOW UP WITH POTENTIAL PARTNERS
Continue the conversation and follow up with any new connections you made at the event. And keep an eye out for this event’s new Digital Backpack, an email following the event with information on exhibitors you visited.
INTERACT WITH POST-SHOW CONTENT IN THE EVENT DASHBOARD
Missed a session or want to listen in again? A select number of sessions will be recorded so log back in to the online Event Dashboard for post-event, on-demand content in the weeks following the onsite event.
